 Rites of Spring Blues Festival The Apex Arts Council Rites of Spring Blues Festival is on stage at the Halle Cultural Arts Center on Saturday, 21 March 2009, starting at 7:00PM! Four hours of some of the best live blues music ever to be heard in this area! Tickets are available at the box office the day of the show or in advance at the Common Grounds Coffeehouse, 219 North Salem Street in Historic Downtown Apex. Date: Saturday, 21 March 2009 Time: Doors Open at 6:00PM Show Starts at 7:00PM Show Ends at 11:00PM Location: Halle Cultural Arts Center 237 North Salem Street, Apex, NC 27502 Admission: $15.00 all ages Headliners: Dave Cox - Native North Carolina Artist performing songs from his new album "3B's Please - Ballads, Boogies, and Blues" at recorded in Nashville. Apex Arts Council and the American Tobacco Trail present Art Along the Trail A Celebration of Art in the Outdoors Saturday, 7 June 2008 – 9:00AM to 1:00PM (RAIN DATE: SUNDAY, 8 JUNE 2008 – 11:00AM TO 3:00PM) American Tobacco Trail White Oak Church Road Trailhead (1305 WHITE OAK CHURCH ROAD, APEX, NC 27523) Join us for
what promises to be one of the most unique art exhibitions ever to be
mounted in this area. Artist's booths will be
located along a short stretch of the American Tobacco Trail running
south from the White Oak Church Trailhead. Each artist
registering to exhibit will be given a ten foot square area along the
trail where visitors on foot, bicycle, and even horseback can stop to
view and/or purchase their works. Sale of any works during the exhibit must be handled through the Apex Arts Council sales table, but the Apex Arts Council will take no fees for providing this service. |
